Trendetna is a marketplace for tours, experiences and airport transfers, booked straight with the independent operators who actually run them. It is our own platform rather than client work, so the product thinking, the interface, the operator integrations and the backend are all ours.

Most travel marketplaces sell a copy of an operator's inventory. The listing is a snapshot taken at some point in the past, so the price drifts, the availability is a guess, and by the time a booking fails somebody has already paid. Trendetna reads the price and the remaining places from the operator's own booking system at the moment you look at the page. What is on screen is what is genuinely bookable.

The commercial side is built to the same rule. Every listing names the company running it rather than hiding it behind the marketplace. The checkout itemises the operator's price, any booking fee and the exchange rate used, with nothing appearing after you have committed. Card details go straight to Stripe, cancellation follows the operator's own terms, and a released booking refunds without anyone having to chase it.

Etna, the built-in concierge, is deliberately fenced in. It can only recommend things that exist in the catalogue, which means it cannot invent a venue, a price or a rating. That constraint is the whole point: an assistant that confidently makes up a restaurant is worse than no assistant, and it is the failure mode most travel chatbots ship with.

The real engineering is underneath. Independent operators each run their own booking system, with their own API, their own idea of what a time slot is and their own failure modes, and the platform has to turn all of that into one consistent search, availability and checkout flow that does not lie to the traveller.
